Welcome to Our Whirlwind Adventures!
My name is Amanda, and along with my husband Steven and our two adventure-loving dogs, Pork and Bean, I’ve decided to start sharing our travels with you.
Camping has been a big part of our lives for the last 15 years. During that time, we’ve owned three different campers (2 fifth wheels and one travel trailer), explored countless campgrounds, and traveled through many states making memories along the way. Every trip has given us a new favorite place, an unexpected detour, a delicious meal, or a story worth telling.
Our inspiration for this blog comes from a simple desire: to share those experiences with others who love hitting the road as much as we do.
Pork and Bean are more than just travel companions; they’re best friends who refuse to go anywhere without each other. Whether we’re hiking a mountain trail, exploring a small town, or relaxing around a campfire, they’re always ready for the next adventure. They definitely keep us active and occasionally keep us on our toes!
We especially enjoy discovering charming small towns, peaceful mountain getaways, hidden roadside attractions, and the occasional beach escape. While you’ll find recommendations for some of our favorite campgrounds, food joints, trails, and local gems, you’ll also get the honest side of travel life. Not every trip goes perfectly, and we believe realistic expectations are just as valuable as beautiful photos.
Through this blog, we hope to help you discover places you might otherwise drive right past, find great local food, and feel more confident planning your own adventures.
